Unsettled Weather Continues
If you liked the weather of the last couple of days then you're in luck as we remain stuck in the same weather pattern again today. We are once again looking at a humid and unsettled day across South Jersey. A mixture of clouds and sunshine early will help to destabilize the atmosphere as we warm. A weak impulse will ride along a frontal boundary and act as a trigger to bring us another round of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon into tonight. With many areas receiving heavy rain over the last couple of days, any heavy rain from the thunderstorms today could lead to localized areas of flooding. As always, do not drive through flood waters, it is very difficult to determine exactly how deep the water may be.
If you are looking for a light at the end of this humid tunnel, it is coming, but you will have to give it a bit more time. It looks like we could see a few more showers and thunderstorms for the first half of our weekend, but a cold front sweeps this muggy air mass off the coast leading to plenty of sunshine and much less humidity by the time we get into the day on Sunday. Have a great weekend South Jersey!
