A man was arrested in Atlantic City with a gun reported stolen from North Carolina, police said. Police were called to Brighton and Atlantic avenues just before 7 p.m. Sunday, for the report of a man assaulting a woman inside a vehicle, Sgt. Kevin Fair said. Officer George Mancuso found the vehicle in a nearby parking lot and started talking to the driver, K’Vonne Smith, according to the report. Smith admitted he had an argument with the female passenger, and was taken from the vehicle so officers could investigate further.
