Fundraiser for EHT teen killed in one-car crash
A GoFundMe has been set up to help with funeral expenses for an Egg Harbor Township High School senior killed in a one-crash early Saturday morning. Brayan Serrano, 18, was heading west on Delaware Avenue when he lost control at a bend in the road at about 12:40 a.m., Lt. Stephen Slusarski said. The car lost traction, rotated clockwise, and slid into a utility pole on the driver's side, according to the report.
Members of the Bargaintown Fire Company extricated Serrano from the car. He was treated at the scene by medical personnel from the Egg Harbor Township Ambulance Squad and AtlantiCare Paramedics, and then taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus. He was later pronounced dead. Delaware Avenue was shut down for about four hours while the crash scene was being investigated and cleared. A GoFundMe page has been set up to help the family with funeral expenses. Any extra donations will go to charity, according to his brother, who set up the page.
The ongoing crash investigation is being conducted by Officers Ben Kollman, Bob Moran and James Ludwig. Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is asked to call the Egg Harbor Township Traffic Safety Unit at 609-926-2661.
He was taken too young and me and my family would be grateful for donations of any kinds. If you would be kind enough to donate to help with medical and funeral expenses it would be greatly appreciated.
