Firefighters save home in Venice Park

Atlantic City firefighters were able to quickly extinguish an early morning fire, saving the structure and a connected home. Firefighters were called to the home in Venice Park at about 4:45 a.m., Fire Chief Scott Evans said. They arrived to find smoke coming from the eves. The house had been under renovation, Evans said. An investigator was on scene just before 10 a.m. to determine the cause.
