Atlantic City man arrested in fatal stabbing of man
An Atlantic City man was fatally stabbed Thursday inside the home of the man now charged in his killing. Daimyen Mortimore, 38, of Kentucky Avenue, was found fatally stabbed inside the Albion Place home at about 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner said Friday. An investigation by Atlantic City police and detectives from the Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit led to the arrest of Faheem Harris, 36, who lived in the home on the 100 block of Albion. He is charged with aggravated manslaughter, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and unlawful possession of a weapon. He is being held in the Atlantic County Justice Facility pending a detention hearing to decide whether he can be released on bail or held pending trial.
