A Break From the Humidity
Showers and thunderstorms brought heavy rain to much of South Jersey on Thursday, even a few reports of localized flooding thanks to some of those downpours. We should wrap up the work week on a drier note with decreasing humidity and increasing sunshine. Saturday looks very pleasant across the area with a good amount of sunshine and very comfortable highs around 80 degrees. You will notice clouds on the increase on Sunday and considerably cooler temperatures, only topping out in the mid 70s inland and struggling to make it to 70 along the coast.
An unsettled weather pattern will be with us from Sunday afternoon right through much of next week. A nearby area of low pressure will keep a cool onshore flow with more clouds than sunshine and scattered showers possible most days, although I can't say at this point any one day looks like a washout. But definitely keep that umbrella handy if you have outdoor plans next week. Have a great Friday and a good weekend South Jersey!
